We offer free returns and exchanges for all U.S. orders within 30 days of the shipping date. Items must be returned unworn and in their original packaging. Items marked final sale and worn or otherwise used merchandise cannot be returned or exchanged. Gift cards, original shipping costs including the $10 flat rate shipping fee, and Route shipping insurance are not refundable.

I wanted to love these. They look so cute on, but the back straps slide down so much it made them unwearable. I suggest maybe sizing down.

When I first saw these… total love at first sight! The black sandal was bought instantly! I’m a size 8 and usually always that size in Matisse. When they arrived I put this pair on first and was shocked… they didn’t fit. Maybe the leather would stretch? I went online and saw there was a size up… so I returned the 8 and grabbed the 9. (Matisse has an EXCELLENT return /exchange policy!) The 9 arrived super fast and I was even more giddy to put them on. I literally wanted to cry… my big toe was in such pain from the tight round leather part. You know, the parts that make the sandal unique. It was just too wide? Maybe gals with a larger gap between the big toe and the next toe may work? I tried walking in the sandal and man… it just hurt. It’s sooo cute but I know I’d never wear them. I don’t know how long I could even wear them. Can we try the style again in some other kind of material? They really are stunning and for the right person they might fit… but I was heart broken. Please try again with these sandals Matisse!!
